A natural deodorant that actually works and doesn't irritate your skin. Featuring organic beef tallow as the main ingredient to nourish your underarms.
Ingredients: organic beef tallow, organic coconut oil, organic avocado oil, organic beeswax, arrowroot powder, non-nano zinc oxide, baking soda, shea butter, black spruce essential oil
Instructions: Apply a small amount (two swipes from top to bottom) to each armpit once a day. Yes that is all you need for the entire day! Of course you can try using more, but I'd start small to make it last.
Developing Pit Sauce was years in the making. I started making my own deodorant starting in 2012, when I learned about the harsh ingredients in most commercial deodorants. I'm fairly crafty and like a good DIY so I played around with making my own. It was mostly a lot of fails. Either it left me smelling not-so-fresh or irritated my very sensitive skin. I would often take breaks from the deodorant all together to give my skin a break from the irritation and just go without (I was a stay at home mom at this time so it worked). It wasn't until I made an eczema lotion for our son, who also has very sensitive skin, that I somewhat stumbled upon what I affectionately call "Pit Sauce." The lotion was okay, but in a random attempt I took some of the lotion base and added the typical deodorant ingredients (baking soda, arrowroot and zinc-oxide) and was blown away with the results. I started using it myself, then I introduced it to my husband who kept asking for more when he ran out. I decided to give it to my sister-in-law and she went a little nuts. She raved and raved about it and insisted I pursue selling it. I was reluctant; all I wanted was a deodorant that worked for me, but apparently everyone else is looking for the same thing! So you can thank her that Pit Sauce is now available to the masses!
